As we prepare for the next big snowstorm, the National Weather Service has posted a summary of the Feb. 9-10 storm - the second powerful nor'easter in less than a week and third major snowstorm of the season.

According to the summary, the storm:
- Broke seasonal snowfall records in Philadelphia, Wilmington and Atlantic City.
- Dumped 18 to 24 inches of snow across Chester, Montgomery and Berks counties in Pennsylvania.
- Dropped 12 to 18 inches across much of western New Jersey and northern Delmarva.
- Spread 8 to 12 inches from the southern Delmarva Peninsula through eastern New Jersey.
- Left 3 to 8 inches in coastal areas of New Jersey.
- Generated wind gusts of 68 mph in Cape May, 55 mph in Royal Oak, Md., and 51 mph in Lewes, Del.
- Reduced visibilities and created blizzard or near-blizzard conditions at times, especially through the Delmarva Peninsula.
- Led to power outages from southern New Jersey into the Delmarva and impassable roads with many traffic accidents and stranded cars. Parts of I-80, I-78, I-295 and the PA/NJ turnpike were closed.
